Is it not true that anywhere we live and move about is temporary, so never in itself Home? The Heart is like a portable sanctuary, moving about with the body, for a time. Yet, too, the Heart intimates of that beyond all the movement, all the changes, all the here and there. And, a home never fulfills us, even if it pleases us, indeed may well alert us not to invest in any home being Home. That which, yes, reminding us of the Eternal, whets our appetite to taste of the Eternal, not as something to get to, but already offering Itself to us.

this Home happens timelessly ~ one may build a house no one builds Home
Home, already present, appears in our receptivity to Home
while, likewise
our receptivity to Home appears in Home appearing

Home may be linked with
a particular place or dwelling a memory arising from the past a person or persons in the present a song or work of art a felt-sense of something or someone unseen an awareness of what many call "God"

Home may appear anywhere, anytime and seem to pass in a moment or more ~ often, the sense of time slows down often, we sense awe or profound, humbling reverence

Home means a complement arises between the interior life and the exterior world
form resonates with Something formless
